Jessica M. Petteys joined Murphy Burns Groudine LLP as a Law Clerk in 2024, advancing to Associate Attorney in 2025. She is a dedicated attorney with deep roots in the State of New York. Ms. Petteys earned her undergraduate degree in history from the University of Buffalo, graduating summa cum laude, and continued her education at the University of Buffalo School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2024.
As a law student, Ms. Petteys built a strong foundation of practical experience. She served as a summer law clerk at the Washington County Supreme Court, worked at a general practice firm in Buffalo, was an Associate on the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal, and contributed as an Associate at her schools’ Entrepreneurship Law Clinic.
Ms. Petteys was admitted to practice in the Courts of New York State in 2025. Her areas of practice are concentrated in the defense of municipal clients.
